My Story
I struggled with my weight for my entire life.
I was a chunky little kid, who turned into an overweight adolescent, and by the time I was an adult... I was obese.
I tried just about every diet known to man because I hated being fat.
I got teased, picked on, rejected and I struggled with self-esteem due to the shape of my body.
I wasted thousands of dollars on shakes, pills, supplements, fitness gadgets, and programs.
I even hired personal trainers and a nutritionist.
Sure, I'd lose a little weight here and there... but it would always come back!
Also, whenever I was "dieting"... I was always miserable.
The food was usually pretty boring, or it didn't taste very good, and there was never enough...

6. *Solidify*. Developing new healthy eating habits are essential if you want to turn this diet into a lifestyle.
The most common question I get asked is if the program is so easy why can’t I just do it myself?
My answer is always you can 100% do it yourself but will you?

The sad fact is that when it comes to *lasting* weight loss… most people simply do not know what to do.
The “conventional wisdom” isn’t working.
It’s confusing. There are tons of “so called experts” who are always contradicting one another.
One study shows this… another shows that…
Who and what are you supposed to believe?
As a society, we’ve been listening to horrible advice for the last 40+ years and the obesity epidemic is only getting worse.
The prevailing advice spewed by doctors, trainers, the media, and even the government of “eat less, move more” is crappy advice and it simply does not work long term /(that’s why more than 70% of adults in the US are overweight or obese according to the CDC)/.
Doing
Knowledge without action is a waste.
It’s one thing to learn that the key to lasting weight loss is to eliminate sugar, grains and processed oils from your diet…
It’s an entirely different thing to actually change your eating habits and lifestyle to reflect that knowledge.
This isn’t about a short term diet.
It’s about a long term lifestyle change.
But here’s the truth:
Change is hard… especially if you attempt it on your own.
The reason most people do not get results, is because they don’t stick to the plan (or the plan they’ve been following doesn’t work).

Look, I ain't tryin' to fat shame you...
But I did want to get your attention because what I have to say is important.
It's time for some tough love and I'm not going to sugarcoat anything to spare your feelings.
If that offends you... I am sorry, but if you didn't immediately close this page and you are still reading this... at least hear me out.
Let's face it...
If you were capable of achieving a healthy weigh on your own, you'd already have the body you want, wouldn't you?
No one grows up wanting to be morbidly obese, yet here you are.
If you're like I was... you've probably accepted the fact that you are simply meant to be fat and there is nothing you can do about it.
Trust me... I get it.
Dieting sucks.
So does exercising.
The thought of eating 6 ounces of grilled, skinless chicken, rice cakes, and some steamed broccoli without butter day after day is fucking horrible.
I'd rather be fat.
Doing burpees until you puke, or jogging while your man-boobs are jiggling with every step isn't any fun either.
It's much easier to accept your fate, give up, and stop trying to lose weight.
That's what I did.
And then I discovered a better way...
One that included lots and lots of bacon!
Back when I was obese...
None of my friends ever said anything to me about my weight or my eating habits.
I get it...
It's a touchy subject and I am certain that no one wanted to hurt my feelings.
But I wish someone would have come up to me, grabbed me by the shoulders, looked me square in the eye, and said:
"Listen up fat ass... if you don't do anything about your weight you're gonna fucking die a whole lot sooner than you should."
I probably would have punched them in the face...
But, if it helped me realize the severity of my situation...
I would have been eternally grateful for them caring enough to speak the truth!
